These beautiful woven bread baskets from The Basket Room are handmade by talented craftswomen working within a weaving cooperative in Kenya’s rural Coastal Region. Each basket is woven to the maker’s own design, with individual patterns and colourways, meaning no two are ever the same.

As practical as they are lovely, they are perfect for serving up fresh bread, gathering fruit, or hiding away life’s little treasures. Basket weaving provides a vital second income for the women who make them, supporting fair wages, independence and family life.
