Stationery has always been one of my favourite things. As a young girl, it began with fresh supplies at the start of the school year, then a new diary or journal waiting to be filled with dreams and aspirations. Now it is more about cards and notecards, chosen slowly and kept ready for just the right moment.

The art of writing a thank you letter must never be allowed to disappear. There is something incredibly powerful about putting pen to paper, taking the time to choose your words, and sending a little piece of yourself through the post. A handwritten letter can stop you in your tracks, lift your spirits and, quite simply, take your breath away.
